This is where we camp when we stay at Golden Gate Canyon State Park and we LOVE it!!! Nice tent sites with good facilities and some great views if you go walking off the beaten path.
Camped in mid-April. Amazing proximity to trails that connect you with the whole park. Bathroom facilities are clean with a large basin sink for further washing. Park Rangers come around often to check for passes, reservations and are incredibly helpful! Check-out noon. $18 camping fee, cash-only.
