We stayed in a cabin and have been out experiencing Colorado during the day, but the nights have been good. Solid bathroom/shower with laundry and convenience store. Highway 119 is a bit of a pain in the arse to drive at night. Tonight will be our last of 3 nights, so far so good!
Great camp ground. Clean bathrooms, clean cabins, and clean grounds. The staff is magnificent, the younger staff was nice and extremely helpful! The two young men on staff were willing to help move tables and clean when asked....definitely would recommend the stay to anyone looking for an amazing camping experience.
Family friendly and dogs are allowed, but it's a mixed bag depending on who you camp by. We had a dog snarling whenever we went passed and screaming kids for most of the weekends. Firewood was good quality hardwoods, but the elevated fire bin kept smoldering our (and our neighbors) fire because it doesn't have air holes at the bottom. The middle tent sites were nice, the edges didn't leave much privacy from the road. Overall, we did like it because of the decent price, you don't have to pay for showers and it's in a beautiful area
Cannot emphasize enough how wonderful the owners are. We booked a bit last minute for our youth mission trip group of 15. They were incredible accommodating, right down to allowing us to switch campsites because the one originally booked did not quite suit our needs. They helped us with getting food for dinner (very well stocked convenience store on property) and never once made us feel like we were a burden. The bathrooms are clean and nicer than those at other campgrounds we have stayed at. Overall, we had a great experience here and would absolutely recommend!
Lovely. Within super-easy walking distance from the campsite are gas, a small convenience store (prices not too bad), laundry room, and liquor store. I mean, the liquor store is called Pickle Liquor! Awesome!
