We went in Friday night for a quick meal before we hit the floor. We were greeted by the Host, Austin, and I just loved him!! Coming from a Restaurant Management background, he was impeccably dressed, very professional, handled multiple people with ease, and addressed us as Ma'am and Sir. He started our dining experience which was top notch!! Management: Please acknowledge him during your meetings as you hit gold with him as an employee!! Good thing I'm not in management anymore!
Professional and pricey atmosphere, although I was comfortable in a tee-shirt and jeans. The food.... Underwhelming. I ordered the French onion soup and was treated to a luke warm bowl covered with cheese (it looked like it had been under a broiler but then left to cool too long before being brought to the table. There was a few pieces of what I think was French bread but I'm not sure, it might be a thing but it didn't work for me. The cheese was one big glob and in no way was gonna melt with the soup. The bread they bring out wasn't fresh (not warm) accompanied by ice cold butter. I ordered the ribeye and my wife ordered the filet. The steaks were actually cooked to the right temp but were no longer very warm. It was funny that the server warned about the "hot' plates while they were cool to the touch. I asked for extra butter and sour cream on the side for the loaded baked potato and all the condiments came on the side. They forgot the sauce when they brought out the steaks and we had to flag down out server to ask for them. All in all not a great experience especially when you factor in the cost, I've had way better meals at the Salt Grass steak house in Parker, CO.
